EU-086 Russia Pechorskoye Sea Coast East group

Matveev Island is located in the eastern part of the Pechora Sea, near the Kara Gate, the area which separates the Pechora and Kara Seas. It is part of the Nenetsky nature reserve (zapovednik) and is home to approx 2000 walrus.
